ECE-SOS is an on-line resource for Early Childhood professionals. Its purpose is to provide information and offer a community of support. ECE-SOS was created to serve the Early Childhood community because many ECE professionals lack the resources and support they need.

Visit the "Director's Chair" to read these Early Childhood articles, then exlpore and dialogue about them with other ECE professionals in the Discussion Forums. The "Director's Chair" is a series of monthly articles and professional networking provided for child care directors. These articles are an opportunity to pick up some new, helpful information.

For those of you with busy schedules and may forget to visit the site to check for new articles, you can be notified when a new article is posted to the "Director's Chair". You have two options setting up a "Watch Forum" for the ECE-SOS: General Announcements" forum or use the RSS feed feature in the Director's Chair" section. The "Watch Forum" feature can also be used to monitor forum postings. It's a great way to monitor forum subjects of interest. Refer to the instructions at the bottom of the "Director's Chair" article or read the "How can I be notified when new topics are posted or when someone replies to my forum posting?" posting in the "Help and General Questions about the Forum" section.

The "Discussion Forums" are networking areas to build community and dialogue about the topics presented in the "Director's Chair" and any others that are relevent to Early Childhood professionals.
