So, tell me a little about where you work, what your job entails and where you want to grow as a professional? What are your strengths and what do see as your areas needing improvement?

i work as a toddler and or infant teacher at a daycare. My strengths are that I love working with the children. I do remember to do these things most of the time but when i forget my supervisor has a fit. she never gives us very much positive reinforcement when we do things right but she sure has alot to say when we don't. My weaknesses are that i don't remember to do things well. I need to find a way to remember things better to fulfill my job description. I cannot go anywhere in the current job that i have this is it, where i am now. We have alot of paper work to do at the center where I work. Things that are ministry requirements i do do these things but sometimes forget to document that i have done them. I have to figure out a way to remember to document them every time. I also have to figure out a way to do all special things for different themes I am not sure how i can do this. I was hoping other people would be able to tell me how they remember to do all their paper work.

I know for me I use a planner. There are a variety of them that you can buy. I use one that has each day on a sheet and this way I write everything down and check it regularly so that I accomplish all the tasks.
So, maybe getting more oganized and following through on committments would be your goals.

Here are some resources.

scroll down to time management and there are links that might prove useful
good luck,

thanks i tried the planners they are good if you check them every day but if you have to do something at a certain time every day or bring something for home for that day and you don't check it until that day then it does not work cause you look it that day and then it is too late
thanks anyways.
